Dipl. Ing. Hans Pfleiderer
Anniversary year 2024: Now 40 years in business!
I was born and raised in Germany, a versatile artist and entrepreneur with a wide range of experience in architecture, production design, directing, film production and technology consulting.
After graduating with a degree in architecture from the Technical University of Berlin, I completed my master's degree in production design at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles and furthered my studies in directing at HB Studio in New York. My passion for creative work initially led me to a special prize for exceptional architectural representation at the 'Deutscher Bundestag Alsenblock' International Competition and to the LA WEEKLY Theater Award for outstanding stage design.
I have developed my talent in various areas of the entertainment industry, working as a lighting designer and technical director for trade and live shows, as a film designer on numerous feature films and as a visual effects designer and storyboard artist on renowned productions such as David Fincher's "Panic Room ", Steven Spielberg's "Minority Report" and "The Matrix Trilogy".
My contribution also extends to documentaries and television productions, where I am a director and producer of the documentary "Moonwatcher: A Personal Odyssey" and other projects. My artistic and technical contribution was instrumental in the Oscar nomination in the Documentary Short category for the film "The Man on Lincoln's Nose". I am also the owner of the film production companies Cosmic Relief Productions and Hans Pfleiderer Entertainment.
I have been contributing my expertise in various technical and creative positions within the film and entertainment industry, including as former lead project manager for the international ARRI System Group, consultant at Arnold Richter Cine Technik and technical director at WHITEvoid/Kinetic Lights.
I am currently dedicating myself to various projects, including the development of a feature film script, developing material for stage and television, as well as technology consulting and socially oriented projects in the area of cantonal cultural development in Switzerland. My commitment to innovation and creative excellence is reflected in my extensive portfolio and my continued influence on the entertainment industry and cultural scene.
